As our kids get older and are involved in more activities, parenting is taking up more of our time and our ability to be the primary salesperson at every market is diminishing. We are looking to bring on a new team member to help run our market booth.

Are you passionate about local food and enjoy engaging with people? Join our team as a Farmers Market Salesperson for our farm! We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic person to represent our farm at local farmers markets.
Job Details:
Hours: Part-time, Tuesdays and/or Saturdays (market hours vary)
Location: Madison area farmers markets
Responsibilities:
Set up and break down our farmers market booth
Engage with customers and educate them about our pasture-raised beef products
Help customers choose the right beef cuts and share cooking tips
Handle transactions, process payments, and manage cash/card sales
Maintain a clean and organized booth
Represent our farm with enthusiasm and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
A people person with great communication skills and an engaging personality
Knowledge of beef cuts or a strong willingness to learn
Passion for local food, sustainable farming, and high-quality meat
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs (setting up the booth and coolers)
Previous sales or farmers market experience is a plus, but not required
